Why You'll Love Accordion Potatoes
Crispy and fun: the accordion cut gives more surface area to crisp up in the air fryer.
Simple ingredients: you only needs potatoes, oil, and salt.
Kid friendly: the fun shape and crispy edges make these a hit with the little ones.
Key Ingredients

Yukon Gold Potatoes: these have the perfect texture. Creamy inside and crispy on the outside.
Olive oil: helps brown the potatoes and adds light flavor.
Salt: brings out the natural potato flavor and seasons each bite.
Ingredient Substitutions
Russet potatoes or sweet potatoes instead of Yukon Gold for a fluffier center.
Avocado oil if you prefer a higher smoke point oil.
Seasoning salt or garlic salt instead of plain salt for extra flavor.

Variations
Add Parmesan cheese right after cooking for a salty, cheesy crust.
Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning before air frying for a spicy version.
Serve with dipping sauce like ranch, or bang bang sauce.
Top Tips
Use chopsticks to keep from cutting all the way through the potato.
Soak the cut potatoes for 20 minutes to remove excess starch, this helps with crisping.
Don't overcrowd the air fryer. Cook in batches if needed for best results.

Storage and Reheating
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350 for 5-7 minutes until crispy again.
Serve With...
These potatoes go great with hearty main dishes like Stove Top Baby Back Ribs, Brandy Chicken, or Braised Pork Chops with Country Gravy. They are also a fun addition to a casual dinner of Ground Beef Sliders or a bowl of Texas Roadhouse Chili.
