Why You'll Love Ground Beef Sliders
Family friendly: these are simple enough for a weeknight but special enough for a party.
Packed with flavor: between the seasoned beef, melted cheese, and buttery topping, every bite is delicious.
Make ahead friendly: You can prep these sliders earlier in the day and bake just before serving.
Key Ingredients

Lean ground beef: cooks quickly and holds flavor well without too much grease.
Diced onion & tomato: adds a juicy, savory contrast to the meat.
Dijon mustard & Worcestershire sauce: brings out that classic cheeseburger taste.
American cheese: melts smoothly for that diner style burger flavor.
Bacon: adds smoky richness and a little crunch.
Hawaiian sweet rolls: soft, slightly sweet buns that pair perfectly with the savory filling.
Butter sauce: a mix of butter, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire, and bagel seasoning that adds richness and a sweet savory crust to the buns.
Ingredient Substitutions
Ground turkey instead of beef for a leaner version.
Cheddar cheese in place of American for a sharper flavor.
Everything seasoning substitute: use sesame seeds, popy seeds, dried onion, and garlic if you don't have the blend.

Recipe Variations
Spicy Sliders: add diced jalapenos or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
BBQ Cheeseburger Sliders: replace Worcestershire with BBQ Sauce and skip the mustard.
Pickle Lovers: add chopped dill pickles into the beef before baking.
Top Tips for the Best Sliders
- Don't skip draining the grease: this keeps your sliders from getting sloppy.
- Use pre-cooked bacon: cuts down on prep time and makes layering easier.
- Saturate the rolls: the butter sauce on top helps crisp and flavor the buns.

Storage and Reheating
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat uncovered in the oven at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or in the air fryer for 5 minutes until warm and crisp.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- ½ cup diced fresh tomato
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 12 hawaiian sweet rolls
- 10 slices american cheese slices
For the Butter Sauce
- 6 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon everything but the bagel seasoning
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, combine ground beef and diced onions, cooking and chopping for 7 minutes, until beef is browned. Spoon any excess fat out of the skillet and place in a disposable container.
- Add the salt, pepper, onion powder, diced tomatoes, stone ground mustard, and worcestershire sauce and stir to combine. Cook for 2 minutes over medium heat, until tomatoes have released their juice and reduced.
- Cut the hawaiian sweet rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom half in a 9x13 baking dish. Place 5 slices of american cheese in a single layer over top of the roll bottoms. You will need to cut one slice in half to make the cheese fit.
- Evenly spread the cooked beef mixture over top of the cheese layer.Place bacon on top of the beef mixture, then top with remaining cheese. Place bun tops on last cheese layer.
- Place the butter, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, and dijon mustard in a small microwave safe bowl. Heat in 30 second intervals, until butter is just melted. Stir to combine.
- Using a silicone brush, coat the top of the rolls with the melted butter mixture until completely saturated. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Place uncovered in preheated oven and cook for 25 minutes, until beef mixture is hot, cheese has melted, and tops of the rolls are golden brown.
