- White frosting: binds the cake crumbs together for the perfect cake pop texture.
- Green candy melts: give the cake pops their Grinchy color and smooth coating.
- Red candy hearts: the finishing touch that makes the theme instantly recognizable.

Ingredient Substitutions
- Use vanilla cake mix instead of chocolate for a lighter base.
- Swap cream cheese frosting for white frosting if you prefer tangy.
- Try white chocolate chips with food coloring in place of candy melts.
Variations on Grinch Cake Pops
- Roll in holiday sprinkles before the coating sets for extra sparkle.
- Turn them into Grinch Cake Truffles by skipping the sticks and serving in mini liners.
- Make mini Grinch bites by rolling smaller balls and dipping them halfway in candy melts.

Tips for Perfect Cake Pops
- Firm base: let the cake balls set before dipping so they don't fall apart.
- Smooth coating: stir melted candy thoroughly for a silky finish.
- Decorate quickly: add the red heart before the coating hardens so it sticks well.

Ingredients
- 1 9x13 chocolate cake baked according to package, cooled, and crumbled
- 4 tablespoons white cake frosting
- 24 ounces green candy melts
- 30 red candy hearts
Instructions
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, add the crumbled cake and frosting. Mix together until the cake becomes like firm batter.
- Scoop and shape cake mixture into 1-½" cake balls. Set aside.
- Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl as per the package instructions. Heat 30 seconds at a time until fully melted.
- Dip the lollipop stick into the melted green chocolate about a half inch. Then stick into the cake ball. Repeat for all the cake balls. Allow cake pops to set for at least 1 hour before dipping, giving them time to firm up and keep their shape.
- To coat the cake ball with the melted candy coating, Take the first cake pops to receive their sticks and dip them into the melted chocolate until fully coated. Place upright in a cake pop holder or foam base to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Add a dab of melted chocolate to the back of the red candy heart and place offset from the top of the cake pop.
