4tablespoonswhite cake frosting
24ouncesgreen candy melts
30red candy hearts
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the crumbled cake and frosting. Mix together until the cake becomes like firm batter.
Scoop and shape cake mixture into 1-½” cake balls. Set aside.
Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl as per the package instructions. Heat 30 seconds at a time until fully melted.
Dip the lollipop stick into the melted green chocolate about a half inch. Then stick into the cake ball. Repeat for all the cake balls. Allow cake pops to set for at least 1 hour before dipping, giving them time to firm up and keep their shape.
To coat the cake ball with the melted candy coating, Take the first cake pops to receive their sticks and dip them into the melted chocolate until fully coated. Place upright in a cake pop holder or foam base to allow the chocolate to harden.
Add a dab of melted chocolate to the back of the red candy heart and place offset from the top of the cake pop.
