Why You'll Love Dill Sauce
It's quick and easy: just mix and chill. No cooking required.
Versatile flavor: great as a dip, spread, or sauce for fish, chicken, and veggies.
Fresh and light: the Greek yogurt and lemon keep it bright and not too heavy.
Key Ingredients
- Mayonnaise: adds a rich and creamy base with just enough tang.
- Greek yogurt: lightens up the sauce while adding a slight tang and boost of protein.
- Fresh dill: the star flavor, fragrant and herbal with a hint of anise.
- Garlic: adds a sharp bite and depth to the sauce.
- Lemon juice & zest: brightens and balances the richness.
- Smoked paprika: gives it a mild smoky flavor that rounds everything out.

Ingredient Substitutions
Sub sour cream in place of Greek yogurt for a slightly different tang.
Use 2 teaspoons of dried dill if fresh isn't available.
Regular paprika can be used in place of smoked paprika.
Variations
- Add chopped garlic dill pickles or capers for a briny twist.
- Stir in diced cucumber for a tzatziki style sauce.
- Mix in a bit of Dijon mustard for extra zip.
Top Tips
- Use fresh dill for the best flavor. Mince it finely so it blends well.
- Let it chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Taste and adjust the lemon juice and seasoning before serving.
Storage
- Store sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Stir before using.

Serve With...
Spoon this dill sauce over beer batter fish, canned salmon patties or oven baked haddock. It also makes a delicious dipping sauce for french fries or cashew breaded zucchini chips.
