If you're craving the taste of roast turkey without the work of a whole bird, this Air Fryer Turkey Breast is just the thing. It turns out juicy and flavorful with crispy skin, and it’s a lot easier and quicker than you might expect.

This recipe came about when I was testing out new ways to make turkey for smaller gatherings. It reminds me a little of my Air Fryer Rotisserie Chicken, but this one feels a bit more like a cozy holiday dinner without all the fuss. And it's perfect for anyone looking for a lower-effort way to enjoy turkey year-round.

Why You'll Love This Recipe
Quick to make: It takes just an hour and there's no need to heat up the whole oven.
Packed with flavor: the simple seasoning gives it that classic roasted turkey taste with meat in every bite.
Just the right size: great for small families, couples or even meal prep for the week.
What You'll Need
Turkey breast: I chose a bone in, however you can air fry a boneless turkey breast as well. Don't go over 5 pounds in weight.
Salt and black pepper: basic but essential ingredients that will bring out the best flavor.
Variations
- Herbed version: add rosemary, thyme, and sage to the salt and pepper rub for a Thanksgiving style flavor profile.
- Spicy version: mix in cayenne or chipotle powder to give the turkey a kick of heat.
- Citrus zest twist: add orange or lemon zest to the seasoning blend for a fresh, bright flavor.

What You'll Need to Cook It
You’ll want a good-sized air fryer for this. I use an extra large french door oven model (affiliate link) and it fits perfectly. You’ll also need a meat thermometer to make sure it’s cooked through, and a small bowl to mix up your seasoning.
Top Tips for Success
Make sure your turkey is completely dry before you season it. That helps the skin crisp up. If using a basket fryer, give it a little space in the air fryer the air can circulate. Once it's cooked, let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing so those juices stay in the meat and don't run out onto the cutting board.
Storing Leftover Turkey
Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. They'll last about four days. You can also freeze them. I like to slice it first so it's easier to thaw and reheat. When warming it up, add a splash of broth to keep it from drying out.
