Ingredients
- 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts , sliced in half vertically to make thinner filets.
- 2 tablespoons oil oil from jarred tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon seasoning
- 2 cups water
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- โ cup sun dried tomatoes drained
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- fresh basil for garnish
- grated parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sun dried tomato oil in a large over medium heat. Add chicken filets and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Stir the bouillon seasoning to the water with the and mix, then mix in the spices, followed by the flour.
- Pour the mixture into the slow cooker, add the chicken, butter, and sun-dried tomatoes.
- Cook on high for 4 hours. At the 3-hour mark, remove the chicken and whisk the sauce, add a teaspoon of flour at a time to thicken it if desired. Return the chicken to continue cooking for the last hour.
- Serve over desired pasta and garnished with fresh chopped basil and parmesan.
