These Fireball Jello Shots are made with orange jello and Fireball cinnamon whisky, and they're a fun party starter for Halloween, Christmas, or game day. It takes just two ingredients plus water to make them.
I love Fireball whisky. I fell in love with it the first time I tried it in hot apple cider and I've been finding different ways to use it ever since. These jello shots are a fun way to enjoy it at holiday parties, and you can change the color of the jello to match the holiday.

Key Ingredients for Cinnamon Jello Shots

Orange Jello: I went with orange for the Halloween theme color.
Fireball cinnamon whisky: Gives these shots their fiery cinnamon flavor.
Boiling water: To dissolve the gelatin.
Whipped cream and fall or Halloween sprinkles: For topping (optional).
How to Make Fireball Jello Shots
Bring the water to a boil in a teakettle or pot, then pour 1 cup into a 4-cup glass measuring cup. Add the orange jello and stir for about a minute, until it's completely dissolved.

Stir in the jello and hot water until fully dissolved.

Add the cold water and stir to combine.

Stir in the Fireball whisky.

Set the plastic shot cups on a cookie sheet, fill them, and cover them with the lids. Once they've cooled to room temperature, chill them in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Substitutions
- Cherry jello: Use it in place of the orange for Christmas or Valentine theme.
- Other cinnamon whisky: I like Fireball, but any cinnamon whisky liqueur will work.
- Apple cider: Use it in place of the cold water.
Variations
- Holiday colors: Change the jello color to match the holiday.
- Red hots: Sprinkle them on top of whipped cream instead of sprinkles for a spicy kick.
- Green apple jello: Great for Halloween or Christmas and the apple jello flavor complements the cinnamon whisky. It's hard to find in the grocery store, but you can easily buy it online (Sonic makes it).
Tips
- Mixing in a 4-cup measuring cup makes it easy to pour into the shot cups.
- Stir the jello into the boiling water until it's completely dissolved before adding the cold water and Fireball.
How to Store Fireball Jello Shots
Keep the jello shots in a covered container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
