    ❤️ Why you'll love it

✔️ You get a grilled juicy hot dog flavor without turning on the grill.

✔️ Cook time is approximately 6 minutes and clean up is a breeze!

✔️ It is an easy way to feed a hungry family fast!

Raw hotdogs on a plate with hot dog rolls in the background.

    🥘 Ingredients

Hot dogs, I prefer what we called snappy dogs, hoffman hots, or glazier reds. These are the best hot dogs and have a thicker skin. When they cook up, they have a crispy skin, will snap when you take a bite and a tender hotdog inside.

Hot dog buns, potato buns are the best bun for hot dots. You can purchase side cut or top cut. I prefer top cut.

    Favorite condiments and toppings

Air Fried Hot Dogs on air fryer rack.

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Place hotdogs in a single layer n an air fryer basket or tray leaving space between the hot dogs to allow the hot circulating air flow between them.
    2. Slide basket into the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 4 minutes. Remove basket and give it a shake to flip hotdogs over. Return to the air fryer and cook 2 more minutes, until outside begins to brown and skin starts to break.

Air Fried Hot Dog with Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Blue Cheese, Crushed Potato Chips, Diced Onion, and Jalapeno.

    🥫Storage

Store any leftover hot dogs in an air tight container in the fridge up to 4 days.

    📖 Variations

    • Make cheese dogs! Place ½ slice of cheese over the cooked hot dogs and air fry 15 seconds to melt the cheese.
    • Wrap a slice of thin cut bacon around the hot dog before cooking for bacon wrapped hot dogs.

    💭 Tips

    • Watch the hot dogs carefully after returning to the air fryer for the last few minutes. They may not seem ready when you take them out to toss, but they turn brown and split quickly.
