These Keto Asiago Bagels are packed with rich cheese flavor and are ready in just 30 minutes. Made with fathead dough, they bake up golden and chewy. Perfect for breakfast sandwiches or a a low carb lunch.

I have always had a soft spot for a warm, chewy, carb-laden Asiago bagel from the bakery. It used to be my go-to morning treat. But, after creating my Keto Rye Bagel and realizing just how good a low carb bagel could be, I knew I had to try my hand at this cheesy version next. That craving for the real thing is exactly what led to this Keto Asiago Bagel recipe, and it absolutely hits the spot.

Why You'll Love Keto Asiago Bagels
Cheesy inside and out: Asiago cheese gets mixed into the dough and melted on top for double the flavor.
Low carb and high protein: Each bagel has just 4 net carbs and 16 grams of protein!
So much better than store-bought: Soft, sturdy, and perfect for slicing and toasting.
Ingredients You'll Need
Almond Flour: Use finely ground almond flour for best texture.
Cream Cheese: Choose full-fat cream cheese (the block style) for richness and consistency.
Mozzarella Cheese: Pre-shredded part-skim mozzarella melts perfectly into the dough.
Asiago Cheese: Adds that signature sharp, nutty flavor. Shred it fresh from the block.
Eggs: Room temperature eggs help the dough mix evenly.

Ingredient Substitutions
Parmesan Cheese for Asiago: Lends that similar bold flavor and melts beautifully.
Coconut Flour for Almond Flour: Use less (about ¼ cup) and add another egg.
Cheddar Cheese for Mozzarella: Will make it richer but a little less stretchy.
Variations
- Make mini cheesy bagels by dividing dough into 12 smaller pieces.

- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

- 1 large egg beaten
Instructions

- Top the bagels evenly with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake bagels for 15 minutes, or until bagels are golden brown and cheese on top of the bagel is melted.

Not sure I did it right. I had to mix by hand. My cheese mixture was not very easy to work with.
