This Apple Cider Mimosa recipe is the perfect fall cocktail that will add a sparkle to your next gathering. Whether you're hosting a brunch, toasting to the New Year, or simply looking to add some fall cocktails to your holiday breakfast or happy hour, this twist on the classic mimosa is sure to become a staple this holiday season.

❤️ Why you'll this Cocktail Recipe

Authentic fall flavor: this bubbly cocktail is the perfect fall twist on the classic mimosa.

Simple recipes: easy prep with just two ingredients, this fall brunch cocktail is the perfect solution for a weekend mimosa bar!

Apple flavors: this mimosa is perfect for those who are a big fan of apple flavor.

    Ingredients for Apple Cider Mimosa.

🥘 Ingredients for Apple Cider Mimosa

Champagne: use your favorite bottle of champagne or sparkling wine.

Sparkling Apple Cider: I used sparkling apple cider but feel free to use fresh apple cider or apple juice. Note if using apple cider or apple juice the drink will have a darker color.

    Cinnamon Stick (optional)

    Fresh apples (optional)

    Rosemary Sprig (optional)

    Pouring champagne into measure jigger.

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Measure and pour champagne into champagne glass. Then, pour in the apple cider.
    2. If desired, garnish with a rosemary sprig, cinnamon stick, and a slice of apple. Enjoy!

    🥄 Equipment

    Champagne flutes

    Jigger

    🥫Storage

Store unused champagne and apple cider separately in sealed containers in the fridge. I highly recommend using the champagne up as quickly as possible as the longer it sits the quicker it will lose the bubbles.

Pouring champagne from jigger into glass.

    📖 Variations

Caramel Apple Mimosas: If you love caramel flavor, add a shot of caramel vodka to your apple cider cocktail and swirl the inside of the champagne glass with a drizzle of caramel sauce!

Pomegranate Apple Cider Mimosa: Add a splash of pomegranate juice for a burst of color and a slightly tart note to the drink.

Spiced Cider Mimosa: rim the glass with caramel syrup and pumpkin spice sugar for a spicier, more aromatic version.

Fireball Mimosa: add a shot of cinnamon whiskey the champagne glass for an apple cinnamon flavored mimosa.

Virgin Mimosa: substitute ginger ale for the champagne.

    💭 Tips

    • Add cinnamon sugar rim to the champagne glass. Dip the rim of the glass in a little bit of the apple cider then dip the glass in the cinnamon sugar.
    • Make sure the bottle of champagne and apple cider are well chilled before serving to keep your mimosas refreshing.
    • I would not pour these in advance, simply because you don’t want them to go flat before serving them to guests.
    • I always pour the champagne first because when you pour in the cider, it does a sort of self-stirring.
    • If you would like a stronger apple cider taste, simply swap another ounce of champagne for another ounce of apple cider, or simply just add another ounce of apple cider without reducing the champagne at all.
