    ❤️ Why you'll love it

Easy recipe with simple ingredients: this easy dinner recipe is ready in just minutes and made with just a few simple ingredients and so much flavor.

Perfect game day: carne asada street tacos are smaller sized, making them easy to hold in your hand and making them perfect for game day or taco night!

Make your own taco bar: everyone loves to assemble their own tacos, and this is a recipe that you can make ahead of time and keep warm in the crockpot during a party.

Packed with flavor: marinated beef cooked and minced then served in toasted corn tortillas topped with onion, cilantro, and jalapeno for an irresistible flavor combination.

These easy beef street tacos are made with just a few simple ingredients.

    🥘 Ingredients

Stew beef: this is a great cut of beef to make air fryer street tacos, but you can also use skirt steak or flank steak in its place

Beef broth: will be used to marinate the beef

Olive oil: used as part of the marinade

Carne asada seasoning: this is a premade seasoning the you can buy on amazon

Garlic powder: an additional seasoning to boost flavor.

Corn tortillas: choose the street taco size which are smaller tortillas.

Purple onion: I like the color contrast, but white onion can be used here as well.

Jalapeños: fresh jalapeno slices used as garnish.

Limes: use lime wedges to squeeze juice over top of the assembled street tacos before consuming, this adds an acid to the dish that brings the flavors to a whole new level.

Fresh cilantro: if you are not a fan of cilantro, this can be left out.

Pickled jalapeños: these are optional but add a pickled flavor that is delicious!

Remove the beef from the marinade with a slotted spoon, be sure to keep the marinade to use when the beef is chopped.

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Add the beef, stock, oil, and spices to a small bowl. Cover dish with plastic wrap and place in fridge to marinate for 1-2 hours. I recommend marinating at no less than 1 hour for the best flavor.
    2. Transfer the beef and the marinade to a pan that fits the air fryer basket. Cook beef at 400°f for 15 minutes, Stirring halfway through.
    3. Once cooked, using a slotted spoon, remove the meat from the juices and place the meat on a cutting board.
    4. Chop the cooked beef into small pieces and combine with half the juices.
    5. Warm corn tortillas on a griddle on each side until toasty and warm.
    6. Assemble tortilla with beef and garnish with onion, cilantro, jalapeños, fresh lime juice, and pickled jalapenos (if using).

    🥫Storage

Refrigerate: store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 4 days.

Reheat: to reheat street tacos, heat in the microwave until warm.

    📖 Variations

    • Sprinkle the tops of pickled red onions, cotija cheese, hot sauce or use any of your own favorite toppings
    • Substitute street taco size flour tortillas if desired.

    💭 Tips

    • Mix together ½ each tablespoon ground cumin and garlic powder, 1 teaspoon each smoked paprika and chili powder, ½ teaspoon each ground coriander and onion powder, and ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper in place of the carne asada seasoning and garlic powder.
    • If you decide to cook the meat mixture on the stove top, I recommend going to skirt steak or flank steak instead of stew beef.
    • Soft corn tortillas can be fragile, I recommend heating them long enough to become firm, yet still bendable.

    🏫 The last word

I used stew beef when making these beef tacos, which surprisingly worked quite well. Normally stew beef can be tougher, but the air fryer did a great job of cooking the meat and keeping it tender.
