    ❤️ Why you'll love it

    • This greek yogurt pizza dough bakes up nice and thick and has delicious crispy edges!
    • There are 4 servings in this two-ingredient dough recipe with just 169 calories per serving and 2 grams of fiber. (not including toppings).
    • This recipe will make 4 individual pizzas, 2 personal pan pizzas, or 1 large pizza!

Self rising flour, wheat germ, and non fat greek yogurt.

    🥘 Ingredients

Self-rising flour: I prefer to use King Arthur brand, be sure that it is labeled self-rising and not all purpose flour.

Greek yogurt: Be sure to to buy plain fat-free greek yogurt.

Wheat germ: This is a great product to use to enhance your food with vitamins and fiber.

Pizza sauce: I used Wegman's smooth brand which is only 25 calories per serving.

Your favorite toppings: I used shredded part skim mozzarella, some fresh mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil. You can also add turkey pepperoni slices, mushrooms and/or onions if desired.

    Olive oil cooking spray

Fat free yogurt added to the flour mixture.
Wheat germ is added for its nutritional benefits of fiber and vitamins.
A ball of 2 ingredient pizza dough in the mixing bowl before kneading.
The dough should come together in a rough ball shape before kneading on a floured surface.
A ball of kneaded dough on a floured suraface.
Knead the ball about 7-8 times with a sprinkle of additional flour (if needed), until smooth.

    4. To make the pizza, press the dough out into desired shape and size on either a personal pizza pan, baking sheet, or pizza stone.
    5. Place the pizza crusts in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
    6. Remove crusts from oven and spread with tomato sauce, sprinkle with cheeses and return to the oven to bake 10 minutes longer, until crust is golden brown and cheese has melted and begun to brown.

Two personal pizza pans with dough pressed into pan.
This recipe will make 2 personal sized pan pizzas (1 pan is two servings) and serves 4.
Sauce on top of partially baked crust.
The pizza dough is partially baked before assembling any of the toppings.
Assembling the pizza on a prebaked crust with sauce and shredded cheese.
I use pre-shredded mozzarella cheese for the base layer of cheese.
    Adding fresh mozzarella cheese layer.
Smaller amounts of cheese is better for the best flavor and it keeps the fat count down.

    🥄 Equipment

    Large mixing bowl

    Wooden spoon

Rolling pin (optional, needed if making 1 large pizza)

    🥫Storage

Store any leftover baked pizza in an airtight container in the fridge up to 4 days.

The unbaked dough itself can be stored in the fridge up to 4 days as well.

One piece of 2 ingredient pizza.

    📖 Variations

    • To add more flavor to the dough you could add 1 teaspoon italian seasoning and ½ teaspoon garlic powder to the flour mixture.

    💭 Tips

    • You can easily make your own self rising flour by adding 1-½ teaspoons baking powder and ½ teaspoon salt to 1 cup of flour.
    • If making 1 large pizza, use a rolling pin to spread the dough out over top of the pizza stone.
    • If the dough is too dry, add a little bit of water to help bring it together. If it is too wet, add a little bit more flour.

    🏫 The last word

This recipe is my own take on the weight watchers pizza dough recipe. While following a nutritional fitness plan, I try to add more nutrition to a meal. For this one in particular, I boosted the fiber and vitamins by adding wheat germ. So while it is the original 2 ingredient dough recipe, I did make it 3 ingredients by modifying it for nutritional purposes.

While this does not taste like, nor feel like a yeasty pizza dough, it does taste delicious. The crust gets nice and crispy in the personal pizza pans and I like that considering there is no fat in the recipe!
