A delicious, slightly sweet, slightly tart Watermelon Berry Wine Sangria is a refreshing and delicious beverage to enjoy in the hot summer months! Made with refreshing watermelon, blackberries and lime, you can have your fruit and drink it too!

This post is sponsored by CK Mondavi and Family, all opinions are my own.

A wine sangria with watermelon, blackberries, and lemon slices in a mason drinking jar.

It's no secret that I love my boozy beverages. However, my main choice of boozy beverages is wine over liquor. I have some favorite local wineries in my area as well as a few from other states. One of them being CK Mondavi!

    ❤️ Why you'll love it

✔️ Sangria is perfect for brunches, bridal showers, or fun summer get togethers.

✔️ The wine infuses into the and it's a very eye appealing beverage to serve guests.

✔️ It is a great way to use your favorite sweeter white wines.

Three bottles of CK Mondavi wine.

    🥘 Ingredients

White wine, choose a sweeter wine, a white wine blend, or moscato.

Peach flavored vodka, or any flavored vodka you think may work well with the lime, watermelon, and blackberries.

Fruit for the wine sangria: Watermelon, blackberries, and limes.

Agave nectar or honey to add sweetness (if needed)

Mint leaves, this adds a refreshing factor to the beverage.

    Ingredients for wine sangria.

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Dice the watermelon and cut the lime into thin slices. Place in a glass serving pitcher along with torn mint leaves.
    2. Pour wine, lime juice, vodka and agave into the pitcher and stir to combine.
    3. Serve in wine glasses over ice if desired.

    🥄 Equipment

    🥫Storage

I don't recommend storing prepared sangria longer than 2 days in the frige due to the fragility of the fruit in the drink.

    📖 Variations

    • Use any flavored vodka you like, there are plenty out there. Some options are cherry, watermelon and basil, pineapple, whipped, and more.
    • Use a combination of your favorite summer fruits. Peach slices, strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.

    💭 Tips

    • Start with 2 tablespoons of agave and add more as needed according to your sweetness preference.
    • Pick fruit that is firm and ripe and will hold up to being saturated in the wine sangria.

I got such a giggle out of your comment about it being socially appropriate to serve sangria any time of day! How true that is! The addition of fruit certainly makes it breakfast-y in my book. 🙂 This looks and sounds delicious!

Never heard of their Blonde Five before! 🙂 I will have to look for that the next time I am at the store just so I can make this delicious sangria.
