Similar to a dirty martini but made with dill pickles instead of olives!

The Dill Pickle Martini is a twist to the dirty martini but made with vodka, dill pickle juice, dry vermouth, and garnished with a pickle for the garnish. It is a great drink for pickle lovers and martini lovers alike!

I like to make this Dill Pickle Martini with my own homemade Garlic Dill Pickles!

    🍸 The Pickle Lover's Drink

There is something about the pucker factor that I love. I love it with lemons, and I love it with dill pickles! If you are someone like me, who loves their dill pickles, then you are going to love this drink!

It is important to have the ratio of dill pickle juice correct in this martini, otherwise you will have too much dill or too much vodka flavor. After making this several times over the years, I think I finally have it down pat!

Vodka, make sure you grab a good quality vodka for this drink. The cheaper stuff just doesn't do it when your drinking mostly vodka! My choices are Titos and Grey Goose.

Dill pickle juice. I make my own pickles and I do reduce the salt in the recipe so the sodium isn't too high. However, you can buy pickles also. I recommend these pickles if your going to buy.

Extra Dry Vermouth, Martini and Rossi makes a good one.

    🍽 Equipment

    Cocktail Shaker

    Martini Glasses

I also like to use these martini glasses without the stem.

    🔪 Instructions

This one is simple! Just add the ice to the shaker, then add the liquids. Give the cocktail shaker a good shaking until frosty. Pour the drink into the martini glass and garnish with a dill pickle.

    📖 Variations

    • Substitute gin for vodka.
    • Use a spicy hot pickle instead of a regular garlic dill pickle.
    • Make a dilly bean martini! I use this recipe for Pickled Green Beans and garnish with a green bean.

Delicious and a new twist on old favorite. I don’t understand how the pic says 0 carbs but nutritional content says 5 carbs, subtract 1 for fiber- so 4 net carbs. What am I missing?

I'm not sure which pic your mentioning? Maybe it was an old pin or facebook share. The only carb content is in the vermouth and pickle juice, which is very minimal. I did the recalculations and realized the program chose a pickle juice that had some sugars in it and the pickle juice I use is my homemade solution from my garlic dill pickles or vlasic spears jar. So, this is actually 1 carb per serving. Not 0.

Yum! I wanted to try something a little different since I had no olives in the house. This hit the spot!

I love non-sweet drinks. Cucumber martinis are one of my favorites but I MUST try this one. Making it tonight!

LOVE these! I used to go to a bar that served pickle shots that were very similar to this. Potent, delicious, and dangerous! Especially with Absolut Peppar which gives it a spicy little kick.
