Classic Baked Meatballs
Equipment
- Sheet pan

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- ½ cup finely diced white onion
- ½ tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil. Spray with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl, crumble the ground beef. Add the breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
- With clean hands, gently mix the meatball mixture until it is just combined.
- Using a small cookie scoop, scoop meat mixture and shape into 1 inch meatballs. Place raw meatballs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes in a 375 degree f oven, until meatballs have browned and internal temperature registers 165 degrees F.
