Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken

- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs , cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 cups teriyaki sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt (optional)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds , for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the raw chicken pieces in a large bowl . Add marinade, salt (if using), and black pepper (if using). Refrigerate chicken 30 minutes in the teriyaki marinade.
- Place chicken and marinade into a pie pan in a single layer that fits into the air fryer basket (or tray) and place in the basket.
- Air fry at 350 for 15 minutes. After 7 minutes, use tongs to toss chicken. Air fry 7 minutes longer, until chicken is fully cooked. Garnish with sesame seeds (if using).
