This keto pizza crust is a low-carb alternative to traditional dough that bakes up golden and crisp around the edges with a soft, chewy center. It's perfect for anyone craving pizza night without the carbs.

I've been making this version for years. It's one of those recipes that turns out beautifully every time and easily rivals any pizzeria crust. It's also incredibly versatile, making it great for everything from flatbreads to calzones.

Key Ingredients for Keto Pizza Crust
See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and instructions.

- Mozzarella Cheese: acts as the main structure for the dough, giving it elasticity and chew.
- Cream Cheese: adds richness and helps the crust hold together without crumbling.
- Almond Flour: keeps the crust low-carb and provides a slightly nutty flavor.
- Eggs: binds the ingredients together for a smooth, flexible dough.
- Italian seasoning: brings a touch of herby flavor that pairs perfectly with pizza toppings.
Ingredient Substitutions
- Coconut flour can replace almond flour (use about ยผ cup) for a nut-free version.
- Cheddar cheese can be used instead of mozzarella for a sharper more robust crust.
- Dried oregano can substitute Italian seasoning if that's what you have on hand.

Variations on Keto Pizza Crust
- Garlic butter crust: brush the baked crust with melted butter and minced garlic before adding toppings.
- Spicy version: add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the dough for subtle heat.
- Herb flatbread: skip the sauce and use the dough as a flatbread base for dips or sandwiches.

Tips for Perfect Low Carb Crust
- Warm dough is easier to roll. if it stiffens, microwave it for 10 seconds before rolling again.
- Don't skip the fork holes: this prevents the crust from puffing up unevenly while baking.
- Flip halfway through baking: it ensures both sides get crisp and sturdy for toppings.
How to Store
If not using pizza crust immediately, store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or wrap tightly and freeze up to 3 months.
