    Iced Bulletproof Coffee is a delicious and refreshing keto coffee that will stave off hunger and give you extra energy. This cold and creamy low carb drink is used by many on the keto diet to aid in weight loss.

    I love to refresh and recharge with an iced bulletproof coffee in the summer mornings!

    This iced bulletproof coffee recipe is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a high fat cold drink. With just 3 net carbs per serving, it is a good choice to start the day and a way to add healthy fats to your ketogenic diet.

    🥘 Ingredients

    Brewed strong organic coffee, hot (needs to be hot to melt the butter)

    Heavy cream helps to make the coffee creamy like your favorite coffee shop drinks.

    Grass-fed butter, at room temperature

    Cinnamon, adds a touch of flavor

    Monk fruit sweetener (optional)

    Collagen protein, for extra creaminess

    Coffee in a blender.
    Pour hot coffee and add cinnamon in a heavy duty blender. The coffee needs to be hot to melt the butter.

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Place freshly brewed hot coffee, and all other ingredients in a blender and blend.
    2. Allow the hot coffee to come to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for 4-6 hours or overnight.
    3. Before serving, shake the coffee container or return the the blender to make sure all ingredients are fully incorporated. Serve over ice cubes.

    Store cold coffee in the fridge up to 4 days.

    Once blended, the iced coffee will look creamy. Allow this to come to room temperature before chilling.

    📖 Variations

    • Mct oil, coconut oil, or grass-fed ghee can be substituted for the butter.
    • Substitute half of the heavy cream for coconut milk or almond milk.
    • Sweeten with your favorite keto friendly sugar free syrup flavors for the monk fruit.
    • Add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract for a vanilla flavored coffee.
    • You can drink this drink hot also! After it has been blended, just pour in your mug and enjoy!

    💭 Tips

    • Be sure to shake the coffee well to make sure all the ingredients are incorporated, before pouring into the glass of ice.
    • You will need hot coffee in order to melt the butter and to easily blend the oils to make the drink creamy. Use caution when blending the hot liquid.
    • Make a double batch of coffee and freeze one batch in an ice cube tray to use as in the coffee.
    • MCT oil can cause problems with the gut, so if you are new to MCT oil, start out with a teaspoon, then gradually increase as your body adjusts to it.

    I like to have a keto butter coffee most mornings. It helps keep me satisfied for a good part of the day I love the great health benefits you get from the mct oil. It also is a great way to end intermittent fasting.

    Bulletproof coffee is known for the following benefits:

    • Cravings are curbed.
    • It boosts cognitive function allowing your mind to have better clarity and gets rid of that "morning fog""

    My personal experience with drinking bulletproof coffee is that it clearly curbs my cravings. I feel I can focus on work better and makes me feel energized. As for the MCT oil, I started with just 1 teaspoon, and gradually worked my way up to 1 tablespoon and did not have any digestive issues.
