Mom agreed to make her Millet Meatball recipe for me so I could try it and allowed me to photograph the process. This recipe is so simple and I love that it is vegan. It's not gluten free because there are bread crumbs in the recipe, but I do believe that would be easy to remedy.

I'm so excited to have these baking in the oven right now!
How fun to be able to spend time with your parents - so precious! I have to admit I have never had millet before but I think this is my excuse to try it! These millet balls look delicious!
You have the cutest mom ever! And what a great post. Thanks for sharing.

What a sweet post, Shelby! Your parents are both very young and vibrant and I can really see so much of your mom in you! It's wonderful that you had the chance to document one of her recipes 🙂
I've never had millet before but would definitely give this a try. I love "meatballs" and this option would be great for the budget considering how high the price of beef is right now. Love the family photos, also 🙂
You know, I have never had millet before, but this looks delicious! And what a special thing to do to share this family recipe with all of your readers. 🙂
Life Tastes Good

I love that you got to make a recipe with your parents! You look so much like your mom. The meatballs look amazing!
Love the pics of your parents! I've never tried millet before, looks like I need to. These look so good!
What a wonderful visit and what a handsome couple your parents are! These look like a tasty meatless option for when my daughter visits. Have you tried to freeze these...they probably are eaten too quick 😉

Those really look good.
These look fantastic- I definitely need to try them!
Yum! I must go get some millet. I have millet flour but not the grain. And yes, the bread crumbs in gluten free are no problem at all. I actually have some right now!
Thanks for Sharing, Mom Law! 😉
What a precious post!
I have never heard of millet meatballs, but it sounds so good. I am definitely pinning this one!
