Amaretto Coffee is a hot creamy almond flavored coffee that will warm you up!
Almond Coffee Cream is a simple 3 ingredient recipe sure to warm you up! Made with your favorite coffee, Amaretto Liquor, and heavy cream. Pour yourself a mug of creamy, boozy coffee, have a seat by the fireplace and warm up with a good book!
    Almond Coffee Cream

Today I'm going to talk about three of my favorite things.  Coffee, Amaretto, and Cream. These ingredients just happen to create this awesome after dinner or cold fall afternoon drink!  We'll be short and sweet and cut right to the chase today.

    The Booze - Amaretto

Amaretto flavored liquor.  It's one of my favorite liquors ever.  I especially love this DISARONNO liquor.  Just open the bottle and take a deep whiff.  The almond scent is enough to make you feel comfy.  This is the time of year that I start to want something to warm me up.  Especially when we are expecting a bit of snow to hit the ground.

    Almond Coffee Cream

Hot Brewed Coffee - my very favorite is Death Wish! (as per updated post-November 2018)

Grumpy and I love our coffee. I guess you would have to call us coffee snobs. We are very picky. While we have enjoyed local brewers in the past, we recently found a new locally made coffee - Death Wish. I'm proud to say that they originate in the Saratoga, NY region! This is probably one of the best things about New York State!

    Almond Coffee Cream

    The Cream.

Being a farmer's daughter, it's very important to me that when I drink my coffee, I add real cream to it. I have used non-dairy creamer, and while I don't hate it, my favorite thing in the world is heavy cream. I love it whipped, used in recipes, or added to my coffee. A little will go a long way and it's the best thing ever.

So, make yourself a pot of coffee, grab the cream from the fridge and the Amaretto liquor from your cabinet. Stir it all up and sit down in your lounging chair with a down filled blanket and tune into your current novel.  I can't think of any other way to enjoy a chilly afternoon.  Can you?

So so sorry to read about your cousin, that terrifies me to think that this happens on a daily basis. my heart aches for her and your family. So so sad. Its always the one not drinking that seems to kill someone else! It should be premeditated murder to do that. This judicial system needs to change and be a mandatory life sentence. I cant believe how this country doesnt do something about that. Shelby this is horrible.. I just feel so bad for all of you. I cant imagine the pain and never want to, god bless her and hope justice will be served to that drunk driver!

What a wonderful drink to enjoy by the fire on a cold winter afternoon! I've never heard of Jernabi coffee, but I'd surely love to try it.

And, totally agree about drinking responsibly. Have your cocktail at home or either make absolutely sure you have a designated driver. So sorry to hear about your family's loss.
