Oh, I have it bad. Really bad. Hi. My name is Shelby and I'm a Trader Joe's addict. I want to go there every single day and when I can't, I have terrible withdrawal symptoms. I am spoiled to the core. Now that TJ's is not far from where I work, I find myself migrating there during lunch break. Grumpy told me I have a problem and I admit I do but you know what? I don't care! TJ's I love you. So much that I think Grumpy's just a wee bit jealous.
I found this Sweet/Hot Pepper Jelly at TJ's this last week. I immediately knew it was going to make an appearance in my basket and then in my cupboard. Today, it made an appearance on my plate as I decided it was time to try these Pepper Poppers out. Oh yum. Just the right amount of sweet heat. I'm in heaven and I could eat every one of these peppers all by my lonesome.
Not only are these irresistible to my mouth, they are not bad calorie/points wise for my diet! These are the perfect party bites to serve that will make everyone love you. These are just 1 point per pepper, super easy to put together and as addicting as TJ's. 🙂
- 6 Jalapeno Peppers, halved and seeded
- 2 Laughing Cow Cream Cheese Triangles
- 3 Teaspoons Trader Joe's Sweet Hot Pepper Jelly
- Broil pepper halves for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to soften and turn slightly browned. Remove from oven and fill with cream cheese. 1 triangle will fill 3 halves. Place ½ teaspoon jelly over top of cheese filled pepper. Broil 2 minutes. Serve. 1 popper half equals 1 serving.

I don't suffer the TJ envy, but I'm loving those poppers. Using Laughing Cow cheese is genius. They look delicious.

I totally agree and I'm so sad my closest Trader Joe's is a half an hour away. But when I'm in the area you can bet I stock up!! They have such fun things to try and so affordable for things like nuts and seeds. We love their frozen orange chicken!

The closest Trader Joes is in Vancouver so I do suffer from TJ envy.
