    ❤️ Why you'll love it

Easy cocktail: if you love easy dessert cocktails, then this baileys chocolate martini is a great way to satisfy that sweet tooth!

Sweet Treat: this drink is bursting with chocolate flavor, favorite cocktail of chocolate lovers.

Perfect after-dinner drink: this is a great drink to sit down after dinner is over and relax with.

Ingredients for a dessert cocktail with glasses and cocktail shaker.
3 liquors are the ingredients to make this delicious dessert cocktail for chocolate lovers.

    🥘 Ingredients

Chocolate liquor: choose your own favorite chocolate liqueur. I couldn't find godiva chocolate liqueur, which is my preference, but this triple chocolate liqueur worked perfectly!

Baileys Original Irish Cream: adds creaminess to the drink. You can substitute creme de cacao

Vodka: I used regular vodka, but feel free to use whipped cream vodka or vanilla vodka

Chocolate syrup: used to coat the rim of the glass to help the cocoa powder stick (optional) and/or to drizzle on the inside of the glass

Cocoa powder: I like the bitterness of cocoa powder combined with the chocolate syrup rim, but if you prefer, you can use chocolate shavings.

    Ice

    🔪 Instructions

    1. Add ice to the cocktail shaker.
    2. If desired, dip the rim of the glass into chocolate syrup, then dip the chocolate coated rim into cocoa powder.
    3. Drizzle a swirl of chocolate syrup on the inside of the martini glass
    4. Add a handful of ice to the martini shaker, pour in the chocolate liquor, Irish cream liqueur, and vodka. Cover and give a good shake until shaker is frosty and cold.
    5. Pour the chocolate martini into prepared glasses and serve.

    🥄 Equipment

Cocktail shaker: to mix the drink with ice

Small plate or glass rimmer: used to rim the martini glass with chocolate syrup and cocoa powder

    Martini glasses: for serving

    📖 Variations

    • If desired, dip the rim of the glass in a little bit of vodka instead of chocolate sauce, then dip in the cocoa powder.
    • Instead of rimming the glass, dust the drink with a little bit of cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate coated cocoa beans
    • If you like the combination of mint and chocolate, substitute peppermint schnapps for the vodka and use crushed candy canes to rim the top of the glass.

Use mini martini glasses and serve this drink as dinner aperitif for two!

    💭 Tips

    • Use a chilled glass to keep the drink as cold as possible when serving.
    • Make a white chocolate martini and substitute Godiva grand white chocolate liqueur in place of the regular chocolate liqueur.
