Microwave
Microwave cooking method done in an oven that is used to cook or reheat food using electromagnetic radiation. This causes food to cook or heat very quickly, usually only seconds or minutes. Food will not brown using microwave cooking and if overcooked, the food will become hard. This cooking technique can result in uneven heating causing foods to cook completely in spots and remain uncooked in other spots.
I recommend using the microwave for cooking food such as bacon (this will crisp and cook quickly with less grease spatter), reheating food, steaming vegetables or grains such as rice, and small batch baking such as cakes or breads in a mug.
