Preheat oven to 350℉. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, using an electric hand mixer, blend together butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
In another mixing bowl stir together flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined.
Stir in chocolate chips. (Do not overmix)
Scoop cookie dough by tablespoonful onto parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake 13-15 minutes or until edges are slightly brown and top of cookie no longer looks wet.
