Instant Pot Country Style Ribs are a sweet and spicy bite of fork tender pork with so much flavor with a short cook time making it perfect for weeknight dinner or Sunday Supper.
In a medium bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, creole seasoning, ground ginger, dried parsley, black pepper and brown sugar.
Generously coat all sides of the ribs with the seasoning mixture.
Add the chicken broth and ¼ cup of barbecue sauce to the instant pot and whisk to combine.
Place ribs in the instant pot and make sure they are partially submerged into the broth mixture.
Place lid on the instant pot and turn valve to seal position. Cook on high for 30 minutes
When done cooking allow the instant pot to do a natural pressure release for 15 minutes. Finish with a manual release, then remove the ribs and place on a baking sheet.
Turn the oven on broil setting.
Using a bbq basting mop, coat the ribs with the remaining barbecue sauce.
Place baking sheet on the middle oven rack and broil for 5-8 minutes, until sauce is slightly caramelized. Let cooked ribs rest for 10 minutes then serve.
