Place chicken drumsticks on a cutting board and pat dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle with seasoning mix and rub into the chicken legs.
Turn the instant pot on to the sauté mode, add the olive oil, and heat until hot.
Place chicken in the instant pot and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until chicken has browned on the outside. Turn off the saute setting.
Remove chicken from the instant pot and place in a single layer on top of the trivet inside of the pot.
Add a cup of water to the bottom of the pot and place the instant pot lid on being sure the valve is in the seal position. Turn instant pot on manual high pressure setting for 10 minutes.
When the 10 minutes are complete, allow the instant pot to do a natural pressure release for 5 minutes. Then, do a quick release to let out the remaining pressure.
