In a large bowl combine pork, garlic, basil, salt, and black pepper.
Using a ¼ cup sized scoop, portion and shape ground pork mixture into 6 equal parts.Place olive oil in large frying pan and heat over medium-high heat until oil is hot.
Add pork patties to hot skillet and fry for 3 minutes, turning heat down to medium if needed to prevent burning.
Flip pork burgers and cook on opposite side for 3-4 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees f and are golden brown on each side.
Remove burgers from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
