Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger Dip is a delicious cheesy dip that's the perfect appetizer to make for football season. Friends and family will love this hot dip packed with beef, bacon, and cheese!
In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the chopped bacon and cook for 3 minutes, or until the bacon is browned and crispy. Remove the cooked bacon from the skillet and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. Drain the bacon grease from the skillet.
In the same skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef for 3 minutes, until just beginning to brown.
Stir in 1 diced jalapeno peppers and cook another 2 minutes, until beef is browned. Drain the fat from the skillet and stir in the onion soup mix and water. Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Remove the beef mixture from the heat and stir in the cream cheese, mayonnaise, ¾ cup of the mozzarella cheese, two slices of the bacon and ½ cup of the diced tomatoes until combined. Spread mixture out to cover bottom of skillet evenly.
Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, bacon, tomatoes and remaining jalapeno pepper (sliced). Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot with chips.
