Taco Tuesday just got tastier with these buffalo cauliflower tacos! Cauliflower pieces are battered, fried, and coated with a buffalo flavor hot sauce and served with your favorite toppings in either soft flour or corn tortillas.
Wash, dry, and chop cauliflower into bite sized pieces. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, Frank's seasoning blend, and soda water until combined.
Add cauliflower pieces to the batter and stir to coat combine cauliflower and batter, coating all of the pieces completely.
Add oil to a large skillet at least 2 inches deep. Heat a oil over medium high heat until it reaches a temperature of 350 degrees.
Using a fork, remove cauliflower piece by piece from the bowl, tapping the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove any excess batter.
Add to hot oil and cook for 3-4 minutes, turning cauliflower occasionally, until cauliflower is crispy about browned.
Remove fried cauliflower wings from the hot oil with a slotted spoon and place in a paper towel lined large bowl to drain any excess oil.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and heat until melted and bubbly. Add the white part of the green onion and cook for 1 minute, until softened.
Whisk the hot sauce and cayenne pepper into the butter. Pour buffalo sauce over top of the fried cauliflower, tossing well until all pieces of cauliflower are coated.
Serve as wings with dipping sauce or in soft tortillas with your favorite toppings.
