This Turkey Charcuterie Board is a playful Thanksgiving appetizer made with cheeses, meats, fruits, nuts, and crackers arranged in a festive turkey shape.
Slice pear length in half. Using a thin slice of cheese, cut into the turkey‘s legs. Using a small paring knife, cut a small hole at the bottom of the pear, then stick in the cheese legs. Cut a small triangle of the cheese for its beak. Place the beak where the mouth would be and add the candy eyes.
Add cheese to the charcuterie board
Create a rainbow effect with the cheese, up and over the pair. This makes the pear look more like a turkey with its feathers. (the order of cheese is Gouda, cheddar cheese, then pepper jack)
Take your sliced salami and fold it in half. Add your salami after the cheese, then followed by pepperoni.
Add your crackers into another row past the meats.
To 2 small bowls, add your raisins and dried cranberries. Place them on the board.
Keeping the grapes on the stem, place them on the board along with the apple slices.
Place walnuts, almonds, and pecans in the remaining gaps on your charcuterie board. Serve.
