Soft Oatmeal Cookies are studded with raisins and have a hint of cinnamon. This old fashioned cookie is soft and tender and absolutely delicious. Perfect for every day and holiday cookie trays.
In a large mixing bowl, blend together canola oil, granulated sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
In another mixing bowl stir together baking soda, baking powder, white whole wheat flour and oatmeal.
Stir ½ flour mixture into egg mixture and stir until combined. Add buttermilk and stir until combined. Add remaining flour mixture and stir until combined. Stir in raisins if desired.
Bake at 350 for 14-15 minutes or until edges are slightly browned and top of cookie no longer looks wet.
