Place 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt butter until bubbly.
Add the shrimp to the hot butter and cook for 2 minutes. Turn shrimp over and cook for 2 minutes more.
Transfer the shrimp from the skillet to a small bowl and set aside.Add the remaining butter and hot sauce to the skillet. Melt butter and stir to combine with the hot sauce.
Remove the skillet from the burner and add the shrimp back to the hot sauce mixture. Toss to coat shrimp with buffalo sauce.
Place ½ cup of shrimp in the center of romaine leaf. Top with blue cheese crumbles.
