The air fryer makes the perfect ribeye steak in just a short cook time! Golden bits on the outside with a juicy tender inside. Simply seasoned, these steaks will be bursting with flavor and are perfect for special occasions.
Pat steak with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Generously season steak with salt and pepper, coating the top, bottom and all sides of the steak, rubbing seasoning into the meat to absorb.
Allow meat to set at room temperature for 5 minutes to soak in the seasoning.
Preheat air fryer at 400 degrees for 5 minutes (while steak is resting).
Place steak in air fryer basket or tray and slide into the air fryer. Cook for 8 minutes.
Remove basket from air fryer and flip steak over. Cook another 5 minutes. Check internal temperature using an instant-read thermometer for desired level of doneness of your own personal preference. (I go for 135 degrees F for a medium rare steak)
Remove steak from air fryer and let steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
