Cut the cabbage and onions and slice the kielbasa ahead of time to save time during meal prep.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of red wine to deglaze the skillet after removing the kielbasa from the skillet.
Cover the cabbage to allow it to steam cook faster, stirring intermittently.
