A healthy baked donut recipe with wheat cereal, fresh berries, and a low in fat. Strawberry baked donuts make a great breakfast or snack any time of the day.

Preheat the oven to 400. Spray donut pans liberally with cooking spray.In a small bowl, combine 1½ cups of the cereal and milk; let stand until softened, about 15 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.In a large measuring cup, whisk together the oil, egg, and sugar. Stir the oil mixture into the cereal mixture.
Fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir in the chopped strawberries.
Prep a piping bag by cutting tip to make a hole about ½ inch wide. Put the donut batter in the piping bag and pipe into donut wells. Top with sprinkles of crushed cereal flakes.
Bake the donuts for 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of a donut comes out clean. Cool in baking pan for 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack; let cool completely.
Combine 1 cup of powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla. Stir until well combined. Add remaining ½ cup powdered sugar and stir until smooth.
Drizzle donuts with the strawberry glaze.
