PAN ROASTED TURKEY

This turkey has a golden brown crispy skin and juicy meat sealed inside. It feeds a small crowd and is perfect for Thanksgiving!

INGREDIENTS

- parsley - garlic powder - celery seed - cardamom - dried thyme - onion powder - olive oil - salt and pepper - whole turkey

In a small bowl, combine the parsley, garlic powder, celery seed, cardamon, thyme, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Separate the turkey skin on the breast meat using your hands, then rub with half of the spice rub.

Fold the skin back over and  spread the oil on top of the bird. Cover with the remaining spice  rub.

Place the bird on a large piece of parchment paper, then fold over and seal to keep in moisture.

Roast turkey for 3 hours, until the thickest part reaches an  internal temperature of 165° F.
