I can’t believe another year has come and gone.  So much has happened in our lives since I started blogging December 2007.  Hard to believe I’ve been blogging that long!  I am going into my 7th year of blogging!

I haven’t been faithful about sharing my top recipes for the year each year but this year I have decided to go ahead and share my top 13 for 2013 with you this year as some of my other blogging friends have been discussing sharing their top recipes!  Ya know, Monkey See, Monkey Do.  🙂

#13:  Copycat Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars from December 2008:  I give credit to this being on my top list because of the credit given me from allfreecopycatrecipes.com.  Sends a lot of traffic my way!

#12:  General Tso’s Tofu from May 2009:  Still one of my favorite dishes.  I could eat this whole recipe myself it is that good and even Grumpy likes it!

#2:  Homemade Flour Tortillas from May 2010:  I am not sure what puts this at the top of my list but I’m betting it is my photo.  When doing a google image search for homemade flour tortillas, my photo is at the forefront on the very first search page result.  However, that said, it is an excellent recipe and once I made this I knew if we were eating tacos or fajitas, I would always use homemade flour tortillas!

#1:  Honey Sesame Chicken from April 2010:  I am a huge fan of Asian food and even bigger fan of making it at home rather than getting take out!  This was my first experience using the cornstarch coating and I have never looked back.  Excellent recipe and I’m still a huge fan (as are many of my readers due to the fact this has been on my top ten pretty since I first posted it!  This year — number 1!

Just a couple of pieces of information for you before we say goodbye to 2013.

  1. Eight of these recipes in the top 13 are recipes I made prior to our move to Albany, NY in October 2010.  The other five have been made since we moved! I’m curious what my top will be next year now and if 2013 will make the list!
  2. Three of these recipes were in my top 10 in 2010.  Do you know which ones they were?
What were your favorites for 2013?  Did they make it on my top list this year?
